Clinical workflow
Shaping instruments do not contact every surface of a root canal system. Irrigant needs to reach spaces around the prepared canal, including fins and isthmuses.
Ultra X adds ultrasonic agitation to the irrigant already placed in the canal. Acoustic streaming supports movement of the solution and suspended debris during the cleaning stage.
Key features & clinical benefits
The 45 kHz (±5 kHz) operating frequency agitates irrigant through acoustic streaming and cavitation. Use after canal preparation as directed in the IFU.
Select low or high output. LED indicators show the selected mode and battery condition on the cordless handpiece.
Silver, blue and gold tip options serve different applications. Select the correct type, size and length; follow the tip-specific instructions.
